Story of the Salat has been taken directly from the translation of the narration of Malik bin Sa'sa'a regarding the ascension of the Prophet to the Heavens with Jibrael to receive the obligation of the 5 daily salaah.
The hadeeth has been presented in a child friendly format, with only a few sentences on each page to help break the narration down to make it easier for younger readers inshallah.
My eldest will be (Islamicly) 7 in a few months inshallah, so this will be a nice formal introduction in preparation.
Its available to download, with 2 different page setting options, depending on how you prefer to bind.

This is how I printed and bound the book with the 1st download option, using 130gsm paper, for a crisp and sturdier page.

I printed 2 pages on 1 A4 page. Each page is off centre to allow you to fold the A4 sheet in half so that you will have a double sided page with both pages having a left side margin.
There is a larger margin now on the left side of the pages to allow for binding. Because you have a page made from a folded sheet of A4 paper you will find the pages to me more durable now inshallah and so will last longer with little hands!
I punched holes along the left side margins and using a ribbon with a child's plastic needle, threaded the ribbon to bind the book together.
As you can see, the pages are all strong as they are folded from an A4 sheet.

Maashaa Allaah, what a cool way to fold the book.
